We will study religious change in East Anglia from 1550 to the 20th century through the characters of the ‘preachers’, their impact on society, and the buildings and artefacts that survive them.  Our focus will be on the turbulent religious landscape of Post-Reformation East Anglia, the churches, the ‘Ministers of the Word’, and the new views on religion, with a view to encouraging interest in aspects of local history.
