Welcome to the Workers’ Educational Association, Norwich Branch – the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of adult learning.

As one of the largest WEA branches in the region we offer a lively programme of friendly, informal courses with expert tutors, open to everyone. There are no exams or tests and you don’t need any prior qualifications to learn with WEA. We’re always adding to our list of courses and we hope you’ll enjoy browsing here to see what’s on offer.

The full summer programme for 2019 – including visits – here on line now!    Printed brochures are available from the ‘Arts Roundup’ carousels in and around Norwich

NOTE – The day-school on the Spanish Civil War

This very popular  Day School,  originally offered in January, had to be cancelled, so we have asked our Tutor -Chad Goodwin – to offer it again.  As the numbers enrolled were high and we had a waiting list, the Day School is being offered again –  twice.   The First, on 2 March,  is now full but there are still places available  on 8 June.   This is open to any interested students, as well as those previously enrolled on the cancelled day school.

Booking information:

Once again  most Courses can be booked on-line, or, if you don’t have access to a computer (or find on-line form filling tiresome), you can telephone the booking service – 0300 303 3464 – who will process your booking for you.  Links to the booking service appear under each course description.
